PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.18/2024 dated 28.06.2024 passed by the second respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu Surya S/o. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.5932, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department dated 27.08.2024.
Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
