Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to redraw the inter-seseniority list as mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.170 Law (LS) Department dated 22.07.2008, based on the date of acquisition of the qualification as prescribed by the UGC in consonance with the date of appointment / regularization and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd Respondents to consider only those persons who possess requisite qualification as prescribed by the UGC in the Panel of Associate professors to be drawn for appointment to the post of principals.
