By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner's application for a new electricity connection is pending consideration of the authorities since 14.07.2023. 3.Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, the learned standing counsel for TNEB has taken notice for 2/4

the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.N.Muthuvel, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) has taken notice for the 3rd respondent. 4.The respondents are now directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.07.2023 within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
