This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to admit the minor petitioner S.K.Vijay Surya in the 1st Year B.E./B.Tech degree course for the academic year 2023-2024 under the Scheduled Tribe category.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that community certificate has been issued to the petitioner on 18.08.2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner would also submit that the community certificate has been uploaded to the Selection Committee/2nd respondent herein on 19.08.2023 itself.

3. As the petitioner has been issued with the Schedule Tribe community certificate, based on the same, he will be considered for counselling under the Schedule Tribe category. Therefore, recording the same, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
