Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue Patta infavour of the petitioner for the lands comprised in Survey Nos.147/6, 146/7, situated at Thiruvathipuram Village, Cuddalore District, based on the representations dated consider the representation dated 18.07.2016 and 25.07.2016.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be in possession of the land admeasuring to an extent of 50 cents in Survey Nos.147/6 and 7, situated at K.N.Pettai, Thiruvathipuram Village, Cuddalore District and in the form of representations dated 18.07.2016 and 25.07.2016, submitted to the respondents, prayed for issuance of patta and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.K.S.Kaviarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to entertain the petitioner's representations dated 18.07.2016 and 25.07.2016, if the papers are otherwise in order and give a disposal, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned and pass orders,

within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
