By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the 1st to 4th respondents to consider and pass order on the petitioner's representation dated 21.05.2025 to stepping up of his last drawn pay on par with his batch mate G.Samuvel (SI 51895) within a stipulated time.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as Grade II Police Constable in the PoliceDepartment on 20.02.1986 and subsequently, he was promoted to the post of Grade I Police Constable and he was further promoted to the post of SubInspector of Police in the year 2017. It is the submission of the petitioner that after completing 32 years of unblemished service and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 30.06.2018. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 21.05.2025 claiming last drawn pay on par with his junior.

At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 invite the attention of this Court about the order in W.P.No.4910 of 2023, wherein the present petitioner has challenged the recovery order. This Court, vide order dated 25.09.2023 while setting aside recovery, has confirmed the refixation. When this Court has 3/6

already confirmed the refixation of pay, it is too late in the day for the petitioner to sent a representation to again refix his pay. 6.. Accordingly, this Court do not find any merits in the present writ petition. In the result, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
