By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner would state that he married one Sadhana on 21.08.1989 and the marriage was ended in divorce, vide order dated 29.11.1995 in M.C.O.P.No.543 of 1995 on the file of the I Additional Family Court and thereafter, the petitioner claims to have married one Vanaja on 13.12.1995 and by incorporating her name, the petitioner was issued with Family Pass Identity Card, Family Card/Ration Card as well as Medical Identity Card and he wants to incorporate her name in his service record in the form of representation dated 23.07.2016 and though it was received on 28.07.2016, the second respondent did not chose to pass any order and hence, came forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submission of M/s.C.Devi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Standing Counsel Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 26.07.2016 and 28.07.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
