PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 4th respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in respect of the petition given by the 5th respondent.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry in respect of the petition given by the 5th respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that a false has been registered against him by the fifth respondent, for which the fouth respondent asked the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 25.10.2021. He further submitted that since the petitioner is handicapped person, he could not attend and sent an explanation dated 27.10.2021, by way of registered post to the fourth respondent, stating that he has filed O.S.No.3702 of 2020, before the XXIII Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai against the fifth respondent and his cousin Mr.S.Govindarajan , inwhich the fifth respondent has filed the written statement, despite the same, the fourth respondent is harassing the petitioner to settle the matter with the fifth respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that on the complaint given by the fifth respondent, the petitioner was called for enquiry and after receiving his explanation the same was recorded and the petitioner was not called for enquiry. He further submitted that there is no petition as on date against the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
