This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.30 of 2013 on the file of the respondent and file final report in the case within a time stipulated.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, Mr.G.Selvaraj, SSI / CCB, ALGSC-II is present.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police were not able to proceed further with the investigation because, the de-facto complainant was not co-operating with the police and that he had furnished the death certificate and legal heir certificate of the deceased.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to submit the same once again to the police.

6.Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for investigation and the respondentpolice is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report or closure report, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible.
