By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that the affairs of Sri Pattabirama Swamy Temple in Mathikrishna Puram, Manapattu Post, Baahur Commune, Puducherry are administered by the board of trustees and their term, comes to an end only on 28.02.2017 and despite that, at the instance of some respondent's Officials, attempts are being made to appoint a Special/ Executive Officer and in this regard, a representation dated 10.08.2016, was submitted to the respondent and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate (Pondy) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and on instructions, would submit that as on today, no steps are being taken to appoint either Special Officer or Executive Officer to the management of the Temple and the said submission on instructions, is placed on record.

4.In the light of the stand taken by the respondent, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition and therefore, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
