Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.05.2015 to measure the property to lay down the boundary stone for the property comprised in Survey Number 116/29 situated in No.54, Vadakari Taluk, Poosalangudi Village, Thiruvarur Revenue District an extent of about 18 cents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 18 cents in R.S.No.116/29 situated in No.54, Vadakari Taluk, Poosalangudi Village, Thiruvarur Revenue District through a registered sale deed, bearing document no.309 of 1983, registered on the file of the Office of the Sub Registrar, Thiruvarur. The petitioner in the form of representation/ application dated 07.05.2015, prayed for survey and measurement of the land and also paid the prescribed fees and since no response is forthcoming, sent reminders dated 12.05.2015 and 06.06.2016 and despite that, he is yet to be favoured with any kind of response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.Annamalai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.

Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 07.05.2015, if the papers are otherwise in order, as well as the reminder representations dated 12.05.2015 and 06.06.

putting on notice, the persons concerned and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
