By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that in respect of No.77 Fishing Harbour, a lease was granted in favour of Chennai Fishing Harbour Managing Committee and they in turn, without any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

authorization, has granted a sublease to the third respondent and they in turn, without any authorization subleased to the petitioner, who is running hotel business in the name and style of M/s.Hotel Srinivasan at No.77 Fishing Harbour, Kasimedu, Royapuram, Chennai - 600 013 and in the form of representation dated 04.06.2016, the petitioner prayed that he may be recognized as a direct lessee and he is willing to abide any conditions in this regard and though it was received and acknowledged on 09.06.2016, the petitioner is yet to be favoured with any kind of response and therefore, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Prabhakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Palanimuthy, learned Standing counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2016 in accordance with law after putting on notice the respondents 2 and 3 and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the respondents 2 and 3.
