This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records and to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.509 of 2021 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent. For Petitioners :

ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent submitted that the investigation in Crime No.509 of 2021 was completed and the Final Report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Walajapet on 08.03.2023. Therefore, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.

2. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, this criminal original petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the aforesaid Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Walajapet. The learned Judicial Magistrate - II, Walajapet shall take the Final Report on file, if it is otherwise in order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
