ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Contempt Petition has been instituted to punish the respondents herein for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 12.01.2024 in W.P. No.834 of 2024.

2. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions would submit that all encroachments have been removed, expect one person. In respect of the said person, authorities found that portion of the land was assigned in his favour in the year 1969.

3. Correctness of the assignment as well as the conditions, if any violated, are to be examined and all further actions will be initiated.
