By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be a practicing advocate at Dharmapuri and for the purpose of conducting a case entrusted him effectively, he made an application to the Public Information Officer/Personal Assistant of Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri and an information was furnished on 07.03.2016 and not satisfied with the same, he filed an appeal under Section 19(1) of the Right to Information Act before the appellate authority viz., Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri and it was yet to be considered and therefore, he approached the respondent by invoking Section 19(3) of the Right to Information Act by way of second appeal and though it was received and acknowledged on 09.05.2016, it is yet to be given disposal and hence, came forward to file this Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Prabhakaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, learned counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to entertain the second appeal dated 05.05.2016, if the papers are otherwise in order and give a disposal in accordance with law, after putting on notice the person/s concerned and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.

This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
