ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 11.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.16473 of 2024, thereby permitting the petitioner to continue as Forest Range Officer at Anaimalai Tiger Reserve, Udumalpet Range, Tiruppur Division, Coimbatore Circle. Further granted liberty to the respondents to take appropriate action as against the petitioner as per the report submitted by the Central Bureau Investigation. 2.

The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that aggrieved by the order passed by this Court, the respondents filed appeal in W.A.No.2460 of 2024 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court by an order dated 26.09.2024, adjourned the writ appeal by three weeks and also ordered that the contempt proceedings, if any, initiated against the respondents shall be kept in abeyance.

In view of the above submissions, the Contempt Petition is closed at present. The petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition subject to the result of the writ petition.
