..Respondent PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for her willful and deliberate act of disobeying the orders of this Hon'ble Court order dated 08.09.2021 made in W.P.No.11370 of 2020.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that the license has been renewed by the respondent and hence the order passed by this Court has been complied with. The learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the order renewing the license was passed on 15.12.2021.

2.It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the application filed for the appointment of the receiver was posted for hearing today before the learned Sub Judge, Puducherry and the matter is adjourned to Monday i.e. on 20.12.2021. In the meantime, it seems that the petitioner has proceeded to open the theater today.

3.The learned Sub Judge, Puducherry is directed to pass orders appointing receiver on 20.12.2012. The petitioner is directed to submit the entire income earned out of the collections that takes place from today onwards till the receiver takes charge. Thereafter, the receiver shall be in complete control of the income and expenditure of the theater as directed by

this Court by order dated 08.09.2021. This order shall be produced before the learned Sub Judge, Puducherry on Monday (20.12.2021) when the application is taken up for hearing.

4.The above direction will sufficiently take care of the interest of both the parties and no further orders are required to be passed in this contempt petition.
