This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.231 of 2022 pending on the file of first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.N.Sudharasan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation has been completed and a draft final report is also ready and will be filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court.

4. In the light of the above development, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. If ultimately the final report is filed and it is taken cognizance and summons is served on the petitioner and the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings in the manner known to law.
