The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to promote him as Post Graduate Assistant in Commerce in any one of the Government Higher Secondary Schools in Tamil Nadu by recruitment by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transfer against 2% of the posts reserved for ministerial staff.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that during the currency of the writ petition, the petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation.

3. In view of the subsequent development, culminating in the retirement of the petitioner, nothing survives in this writ petition.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
