This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry,

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner a former General Secretary (Agricultural wing) of Bharathiya Janatha Party, having vast stretch of lands, carry on agricultural work, as politician involved in public service and since the petitioner arranged for Legal advice to Kalavathy, Vasudevan and Rajuvee, which was not cherished by the respondent police now he is unnecessarily called by the Respondent police under the guise of enquiry.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the matter pertains to property dispute and the civil suit is pending with respect to the petitioner's property https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in O.S.No.140 of 2020 and O.S.No.230 of 2020 and pending the same, the respondent police are unnecessarily interfering and harassing the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by one Abdul Salam, a case in Crime No.13 of 2021 has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420,465,468,471 and 120B against one Salagudeen, Vasudevan, Kaliyamoorthi, Pandiyan and Rejeevi. He further submitted that so far the petitioner was not called for enquiry and there is no complaint as on date against the petitioner and the petitioner apprehension is unreasonable.

5. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
