ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the first respondent Sub-Inspector of Police, Vikravandi Police Station, to register the FIR on the complaint dated 27.09.2021.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that on 27.09.2021, the petitioner, who is the hereditary Poosari of the temple, is given a place to rear temple and he is residing there. One Sankar and his relatives consisting of 20 persons had come there and threatened and asked him to vacate the place and also forcibly taken away the key and chased him away. Further, the petitioner is a centenarian aged about 101 years. Hence, he lodged a complaint on 27.09.2021 to the first respondent by a Registered Post with ackowledgment but no action has been taken. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, CSR.No.1513 of 2021 assigned on 27.10.2021 and the respondent police visited the temple and conducted an enquiry. It was found that the temple belongs to the counter complainant Sankar. The petitioner was allowed to conduct Pooja in the temple. Later, now he claims that the temple belongs to him and on an enquiry, it was agreed that the petitioner will not make such a claim. Based on the same, the complaint has been closed but the closure report has not been served to the petitioner. 4.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to serve the closure report along with the annexure including the compromise deed entered into between the petitioner and the counter complainant. If the petitioner file any petition before the Magistrate seeking a direction under Section 156

(3) or any other prayer, the Magistrate to consider and dispose of the same expeditiously since the petitioner is a centenarian aged about 101 years.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
