O R D E R

The Deputy Director, Geology and Mining, Tiruppur, is impleaded as sixth respondent in the present writ petition.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the official respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.03.2025 and to stop the alleged illegal quarrying done by the fifth respondent.

3. Heard Mr.D.Raghu, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.E.Vijay Anand, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and 6.

4. There is already a private dispute between the petitioner and 2/4

the fifth respondent and a suit has been filed before the competent Court seeking for the relief of partition in O.S.No.105 of 2024. However, the petitioner alleges that the fifth respondent is carrying on illegal quarrying operation.

5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the impleaded sixth respondent along with all necessary particulars. On receipt of the same, the impleaded sixth respondent shall conduct an enquiry and see if any illegal quarrying activity is taking place and if so, take necessary action. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. 12.08.2025 Note: Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in all the concerned records.
