This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.66 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, Mr.A.P.Gunasekaran, Special Sub Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Coimbatore is present before this Court.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that investigation in Crime No.66 of 2016 has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact on 21.11.2016. A copy of the Closure Report is served to the learned counsel for the petitioner, across the bar.
