O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to modify the condition dated 07.11.2016 imposed by the Sessions Judge, Dharmapuri in Crl.MP.No.1816/2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner was arrested in Crime No.1086 of 2016 for offences under Section 4(1)(g) r/w 4(1-A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act and was granted bail on 07.11.2016 by the Principal Sessions Judge, Dharmapuri in Crl.MP.No.1816 of 2016 on certain conditions, one of which is that he should deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Harur, challenging which the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a poor person and does not have money to pay.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the accused has previous cases.

6. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the aforesaid condition is modified to the effect that the deposit amount of Rs.50,000/- is reduced to Rs.25,000/-. Rest of the conditions imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Dharmapuri shall remain same.
