This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking for a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Tindivanam, to dispose E.P.No.108 of 2018 in MCOP.No.1312 of 1999 as expeditiously as possible.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the accident took place during the year 1992 and the compensation was awarded way back in the year 2001, whereas, the proceedings in the execution petition filed by the petitioner in E.P.No.108 of 2018 before the execution Court is still pending for final disposal. She further submitted that due to the pendency of the petition, the petitioners/dependents of the deceased are put to unnecessary hardship. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking for a direction to dispose the execution petition expeditiously as possible.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the materials available on record.

On perusal of records, it is seen that the son of the 1st and 2nd petitioners died in an accident during the year 1992 and the compensation was awarded to them in the year 2001, however, due to the repeated adjournments, the execution petition filed by the petitioners is still pending from 2018.

5. In view of the above, this Civil Revision Petition stands allowed with a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, to dispose the Execution Petition in E.P.No.108 of 2018 in MCOP.No.1312 of 1999, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
