This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give protection to the life of the petitioner and his property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on the complaint given by the petitioner, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.338 of 2016.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.338 of 2016 by calling both the parties and take action in accordance with law.
