ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the third respondent to extent the petitioner's last year licence which is expired on 31.032024 till the date of new notification in respect of the Rule 299 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023 by considering the petitioner's representation.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ

petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner dated 15.04.2024 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
