A serious allegations of fraud and cheating to the tune of Rs.2.24,00,000/- is under investigation, the petitioner and others by impersonating themselves as officer of customs department and inducing the defacto complainant to part away money.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the investigation is at nascent stage. The accused persons been already secured and remanded to judicial custody.

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
