ORDER
Heard Ms.Dakshayani Reddy learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. As directed by this Court, the learned Special Government Pleader has filed the status report. It is the stand of the respondents that the lands in survey Nos.246/2, 246/3 and 246/4 has been surveyed. The land Survey No.246/1 has also been surveyed, wherein the petitioner has encroached to an extent of 130 sq. mtrs.
3. Whereas the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners disputed the status report filed on behalf of the respondents.
4. In such view of the matter, this Court cannot go into the title in a contempt petition. Once the respondents have complied the Order, there cannot 2/4
be further probe into the tile of the parties. It is open to the petitioners to establish their title by filing appropriate civil suit.
5. With the above observations, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.11.2024 vrc 3/4
