O R D E R
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal presented by the petitioner on 21.11.2023 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2. According to the petitioner, challenging the order passed by the 3rd respondent transferring patta in respect of the land comprised in S.Nos.176, 177 and 178 situated in Ayanambakkam Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 21.11.2023 and the same has not been disposed of, till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the appeal filed by 2/4
the petitioner dated 21.11.2023 would be disposed of in accordance with law within the time fixed by this Court.
4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal presented by the petitioner on 21.11.2023, after affording sufficient opportunity to the petitioner as well as the temple in whose favour the order was passed by 3rd respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
