Writ petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.429 of 2003 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal praying to call for the records of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.3991/2001/H1 dated 22.04.2002 and quash the same and consequently direct the second respondent to promote the applicant as Sanitary Supervisor under the second respondent Municipality from the date of Sanitary Supervisor posts sanctioned by the first respondent (10.06.1998) with all consequential benefits. O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking to quash the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.3991/2001/H1 dated 22.04.2002 and consequently direct the second respondent to promote the petitioner as Sanitary Supervisor under the second respondent Municipality from the date of Sanitary Supervisor posts sanctioned by the first respondent (10.06.1998) with all consequential benefits.

2. Mr. P.I. Thirumoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this court to withdraw the writ petition as not pressed. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
