O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner and sanction the salary for the post of Permanent Tailoring Teacher (PVI Full Time) in the 3rd respondent school with effect from 01.06.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he was appointed in the 3rd respondent school on 31.05.2018 as Tailoring Teacher (Permanent Vocational Instructor-Full Time). It is the further submission of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent school is a minority institutions. He further submits that the 3rd respondent has forwarded the appointment proposal on 10.10.2018 to the 2nd respondent. In turn, the 2nd respondent forwarded the proposal to the 1st respondent on 15.06.2023 and such proposal is pending for more than 2 years.

3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing 2/5

for the respondents 1 and 2 would fairly submit that they would consider the proposal of the 2nd respondent within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going into the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's proposal dated 10.10.2018 which was forwarded by the 2nd respondent on 15.06.2023 to the 1st respondent, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
