This Court by order dated 05.04.2022, had directed the learned IV Additional Family Judge, Chennai, to dispose of the case in M.C.No.120 of 2018 within a period of three months. Subsequently, the learned Judge, had sent a letter dated 04.08.2022 to the Registry, seeking extension of two months time for disposal of the case. Since this Court was not satisfied with the reasons stated, this Court had directed the IV Additional Family Judge, Chennai, to appear before this Court on 14.10.2022.

2. Today (14.10.2022) the learned IV Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, appeared before this Court and offered his explanation.

3. This Court extends a further period of one month i.e. till 14.11.2022 to dispose of the maintenance case and the learned IV Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to file compliance report before this Court on or before 17.11.2022.
