PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent to provide police protection based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.11.2021 to the 1st respondent police. This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to provide police protection based on his complaint dated 07.11.2021 to the 1st respondent police.

It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaint before the first respondent on 07.11.2021 to provide police protection and the same is still pending without any progress. 3.In view of the same, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 07.11.2021. Further, it is seen that there is life threat to the petitioner and hence, the respondents are directed to dispose of the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
