ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus to direct the 4th respondent to issue a joint patta in the name of the present joint owners of Balaji Apartment at No.AG, 129, 7th Main Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai - 600 040, whose names are disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, for the extent Page No.2 of 6
of 3 Grounds and 2117 sq.ft, based on the petitioner's representation, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the petitioner has not submitted an online application for issuance of patta, the petitioner will have to submit a fresh online application with the 4th respondent for issuance of patta. Further, the petitioner will have to produce all the requisite documents to enable the 4th respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner as prayed for in this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel of the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application. He also submits that the petitioner shall provide all the requisite documents before the 4th respondent. The said undertaking given by the petitioner is recorded.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner is directed to submit an online application seeking issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition and if the 4th respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh online application to the 4th respondent seeking for issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer for this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application, the 4th respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
