This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second and third respondent to provide the present status till date of the recurring fixed deposits being 1. FDR. No.254/99/2000, Receipt No.243992 Rs.25,00,000 (08/01/2000), 2. FDR. No.314/99/2000, Receipt No.242452 Rs.28,51,509 (10/03/2000) and 3. FDR. No.321/99/2000, Receipt No.242459 Rs.5,08,618 (16/03/2000) standing in the name of Late Sambandham Chettiar with the 3rd respondent by furnishing the total accrued payable interest together with the principal amount for each of the fixed deposits made by Mr.Sambandham Chettiyar to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Revision. To that effect, he has made an endorsement in the case bundle.

3. Recording the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petitions is dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a petition under the Right to Information Act before the appropriate authority. No costs. 21.08.2024 rli
