This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to file a Final Report in Crime No.244 of 2019 pending on the file of the respondent Police. 1/3

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation was initially carried out by the respondent Police and thereafter it has been transferred to the file of the Sivakanchi Police Station. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the investigation is almost complete and the Sivakanchi Police will complete the investigation and file a Final Report within a period of eight weeks.
