O R D E R
By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the respondent to pay the petitioner the amount of Rs.22,395/- payable as wages towards 45 days of earned leave surrendered by him, while he was in service as admitted by the respondent in their RTI, together with 15% interest from the date of his retirement and to pay him a sum of Rs.17,500/- towards the STERBS (State Transport Employees Retirement Benefits Scheme), which was deducted from his salary for every month, while he was in service, together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum, within a specified time as may be fixed by this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has joined in the service of the Respondent-Transport Corporation as Driver on 26.02.1993 and on attaining the age of superannuation, he retied from service on 31.05.2019 as Special Grade Driver. It is the submission of the petitioner that he has surrendered 45 days of earned leave salary of Rs.22,395/- and he has also claimed a sum of Rs.17,500/- towards STERBS Contribution, but the same have not been paid by the respondent. Hence, he has given a representation before the respondent on 01.04.2025 claiming Surrender Earned Leave and STERBS Contribution. It is the further submission of the petitioner that the said amount was admitted by the respondent. However, the above said representation is yet to be considered by the respondent.
5. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that they would consider the petitioner's representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.
6. In such view of the submission, without going into the merits of the 3/6
writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
