ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to reopen the Cont.P.No.776 of 2024 dated 05.04.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court vide order dated 17.03.2023 in WP.No.3370 of 2018, directed the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of B.T. Assistant (Maths) in the vacancies arose for the panel year 2010-11 retrospectively based on seniority. Since the said order was not implemented, the petitioner filed Cont.P.No.776 of 2024. The said Contempt Petition was closed on 05.04.2024, as per the misrepresentation of the respondents that the petitioner did not come under the zone of consideration for promotion.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the averments in the accompanying affidavit, being satisfied with the same, this petition is allowed.
