Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent herein to forthwith sanction the educational loan to the petitioner daughter so as to enable her to continue his study pursuant to the scheme introduced by the 1st respondent herein in RPCD/PLNFS/BC.No.83/06.12.2005/2000-01 dated 28.04.2001 based on the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/1999/2014 dated 10.06.2016.

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent herein to forthwith sanction the educational loan to the petitioner daughter so as to enable her to continue her study pursuant to the scheme introduced by the 1st respondent herein in RPCD/PLNFS/BC.No.83/06.12.2005/2000-01 dated 28.04.2001 based on the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings in Na.Ka.A2/1999/2014.
2. On this day, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.P.D.Audikesavalu, learned counsel for the 4th respondent Bank, submitted that they are processing the the application of the petitioner's daughter for educational loan and the same would be sanctioned in accordance with IBA norms.
3. In view of the above, this Court directs the 4th respondent bank to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner's daughter for educational loan, if papers are in order and dispose of the same, in accordance with IBA Norms, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
