O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.244 of 2014 and file the final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that two letters dated 10.05.2014 have to be secured by the police.

4. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police are taking all possible steps to conduct the investigation and secure the necessary documents. He further submitted that the police are taking steps to collect https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the two cheques, one from M/s.HDFC Bank, Anna Nagar Branch and the other from State Bank of India, Madurai Branch for the purpose of investigation.

5. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue any direction to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

Hence, this petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
