Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to process and pass orders on petitioner's patta application dated 21.01.2015 bearing Challan dated 13.04.2015 with respect to the petitioners property bearing Punja Survey No. 807/1 Periakuppam Village, Thiruvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District admeasuring to an extent of 64 cents situated within the Sub Registration District of Thiruvallur. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that she is the owner of punja land in Survey No.807/1, situate at Periakuppam Village, Thriuvallur Taluk, Thiruvallur District admeasuring to an extent of 64 cents and claims the said right by way of registered sale deed bearing Document No.3751 of 1968 dated 21.11.1968, registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thiruvallur District. The petitioner submitted an application dated 21.01.2015 for transfer of name and also paid necessary fees as evidenced by Challan dated 13.04.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Vasanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to pass orders in accordance with law on the application dated 21.01.2015 submitted by the petitioner after putting on notice the persons concerned and give a disposal within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
