By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the Application No.2025/0123/10/004242 dated 28.03.2025 and survey the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.283/2A (Patta No.363) measuring an extent of 7.35 acres out of the total extent of 14.48 hectares situated at Nerunjipettai Village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District and affix boundary stones.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner and his father purchased the subject property vide sale deed dated 11.12.1986 registered as Document No.426 of 1987 on the file of SRO, 2/5
Bhavani, Erode District. After the demise of his father, petitioner filed an online application dated 28.03.2025 before the respondents to survey and affix boundary stones in the subject property and paid necessary charges. The said application was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

On this being pointed out, the learned Special Government Pleader would submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application dated 28.03.2025 and carry out survey and affix boundary stones in the subject property and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's online application dated 28.03.2025 and carry out survey and affix boundary stones and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy, after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival 3/5
claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
