O R D E R

The petitioner made a representation on 21.12.2015 to respondents 1 to 3 stating that since, without notice to him, under the Updating Revenue Scheme, the land, measuring an extent of 945 sq.ft comprised in Natham Old Survey no. 55/13 and new Survey No. 293/29, belonging to him, was wrongly entered in the name of the father of the 4th respondent and therefore, the same may be cancelled and fresh patta may be issued in his favour. Subsequent to the said representation, the petitioner and the 4th respondent were called for an enquiry on 29.12.2015, on which date, the petitioner appeared along with relevant documents in support of his claim. However, according to the petitioner, the 4th respondent did not appear. Thereafter, no orders have been passed on the representation of the petitioner and hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition. 2.

Considering the pendency of the representation of the petitioner, with regard to the relief sought, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.12.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits, in accordance with law and after due notice to all parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
