Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.1 and Respondent No.2 to act on the complaint dated 19.07.2024 and to provide protection to the Factory of the petitioner situated at Plot No.3, Phase II, SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Sandavellur C Village, Sriperumbudur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu - 602 106 and it's employees, plant and machinery at the said Factory premises to enable the free and safe ingress and egress of employees, men and materials, finished products and ensure that the workmen agitating are 500 meters away from the perimeter of the Factory premises to maintain law and order and peace in and around the petitioner Company's Factory premises situated at Plot No.3, Phase II, SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Sandavellur C Village, Sriperumbudur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu - 602 106.

ORDER
The petitioner /Flextronics Technologies Private Ltd., on receipt of strike notice by the Union, seeking protection to the factory and the workmen, who are willing to work. Apprehending that the strike members of the union may obstruct the ingress and egress of the factory product, machineries, vehicle as well as the workers, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
2. Mr. K.M.D. Muhilan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that so far as no request from the union received by the police seeking permission to conduct any protest. However, the police will ensure that the union activity does not affect the smooth and peaceful functioning of the petitioner's factory and will ensure that no protest meeting or strike conducted within 500 mts of the petitioner's factory gate.
On receipt of the strike notice, the petitioner apprehending that there may be disturbance for the ingress and egress of the working employees.
Recording the undertaking given by the learned
Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Writ Petition stands disposed of directing the respondent police to give above protection to the factory premises and also ensure that no protest activity is conducted within 500 mts of the factory gate. No costs.
