ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Alleging that the fifth respondent has put up encroachment on the land comprised in Survey No.215/30 at Government Pathway (Street) situated in Banavaram Village, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet District, the petitioner sent a representation dated 21.6.2024 to the respondent authorities. As the said representation did not educe any response, the present writ petition is filed.
2. Learned Government Advocate submits that the Block Development Officer, Kaveripakkam, Sholinghur Taluk, is the competent authority to take action on the said representation and the said authority may be directed to consider the representation within a
time frame.
3. Considering the narrow scope of the prayer made in the writ petition, without going into the merits of the matter, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Block Development Officer, Kaveripakkam, Sholinghur Taluk, to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.6.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, of course after affording opportunity to all the interest persons, including the fifth respondent. Such exercise shall be concluded within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. (D.K.K., ACJ.) (P.B.B, J.) 30.08.2024 Index :
