Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the proceedings of the 1st Respondent in Na.Ka.No.058978/A3/E1/2021 dated 12.11.2021 and the consequential order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. 7608 / A1 / 2021 dated 12.11.2021 and quash the same For Petitioner : Mr.M.Baskar For Respondent : Mr.V.Manoharan, A.G.P.

O R D E R

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is suffering from cancer and taking regular treatment at Appollo Hospital, Chennai, but the transfer order has been passed by the respondent by shifting the petitioner from Chidambaram to Sivagangai District and hence, the petitioner seeks transfer to any nearby place in the North District. Pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court dated 16.3.2022, the Additional Govt. Pleader on instructions would submit that the respondent considered the request of the petitioner to transfer the petitioner to any of the nearby place https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in North Arcot district or Chennai and stated that two vacancies are available one at Chennai and another at Vanur, Villupuram district. According to the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, out of the aforesaid two vacancies, the petitioner can opt for any one of the aforesaid two vacancies.

2. In response to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner opted for Block Educational officer, Vanur, Villupuram.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the parties, the first respondent is directed to pass the revised transfer order and the said order shall be communicated to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
