Prayer : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction retirement benefits to the petitioner from the date of retirement on 31.10.2018 including payment of Provident Fund, Encashment of Earned Leave, Gratuity as well as Regular Pension to the petitioner based on the Last Drawn Pay which include incentive increment for B.Ed., degree awarded to the petitioner, with all consequential benefits including payment of interest for delay in disbursal of retirement benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the Accountant General of Tamil Nadu passed an order on 03.08.2022, sanctioning terminal and pensionary benefits to the petitioner, without taking into account the incentive increment for which the petitioner is eligible.

2. Thus, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the said order is to be challenged.

3. Granting liberty to the petitioner, the present writ petition stands 2/4

closed. No costs.
