O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a status report or final report in Crl.OP.No.26019 of 2015 filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner had given a complaint dated 21.07.2015 and thereafter, he filed Crl.OP.No.26019 of 2015, in which, this Court passed the following order on 05.11.2015 :

"The learned Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint, C.S.R.No.343 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is pending investigation.

Considering the rival submissions, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 27.09.2015 and if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible."

4. While so, the present petition has been filed with the above prayer. In the considered opinion of this Court, no such direction can been issued, as this Court does not have a authority to direct the police to investigate the case in a particular manner.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that only CSR enquiry is pending and not even a regular FIR has been registered.

6. Under such circumstance, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry in CSR No.343 of 2015, if not already completed, as expeditiously as possible. With the above direction, this petition is closed. -s/d- Assistant Registrar True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar mk
