Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Appeal Petition dated 30.12.2015 filed against the proceedings in Pa.Mu.2015/ 2015/B3 dated 7.12.2015 by the 2nd respondent within the time to be stipulated by this Honourable court.

By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be successor in title in respect of the landed property admeasuring to an extent of 4.30 acres in S.F.No.834/2, situate at Akkondapalli Village, Dhenkanikottai

Taluk and according to him, the said land was wrongly classified as "Assignment to Depressed Class persons" (ADC) and in this regard, he approached the second respondent for rectification of the said mistake and it was rejected on 07.12.2015 and challenging the same, he filed an appeal dated 30.12.2015 and though he appeared and submitted all necessary documents, no progress have been made and hence, came forward to file this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 30.12.2015 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
